Not in Mexico. Take control of the border towns and the drug corridors are so much easier to control in the US. The major gangs/cartels in Mexico are banding together to a force of 100k.

This can be disastrous. Maybe someone will wake up regarding the southern border of the US--I doubt it, though.

The violence is spilling into the US. Pheonix has become the # 1 city in the us for kindappings (http://ktar.com/?nid=6&sid=877515). 90% related to drugs. This is going to get ugly. If they kick them out of Mexico where do they go!! Can you say FENCE!! We have been let down by Bush and others on this one. :(

Today about 10 am, a supposed drugs cartel bands got into a figth with the federal forces, close to some schools and comercial centers, about 10 dead peoples by the moment.

fathers running for his kids at the schools, dead people on the streets, a lot of streets closed,

Machine guns, grenades............... this is crazy.

All the commerces are closing now. No public transport.


seems that the cartel del Golfo is on this.

I hate all this shit, I talk with a friend a minutes ago, and he said that a grenade explode on a school, and some kids are at the hospital.

Hope this is not true, now the city is with total paranoia

I don't know WHY the US has NOT yet deployed the National Guard down there yet.

It is getting out of hand and WILL get a lot worse if something isn't done SOON!

The cartels are taking the border cities in an attempt to build their armies. Armies being incarcerated gangs.
This just happened, a test run, veiled as merely a gang fight, for taking the prison in the future is my guess.
