I made my own setup. It can help if you are under fueled, and it takes alot of heat out of the intake charge.

Check out these guys, Alcohol Injection Systems (http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com/). Have heard good things about them over at The Turbo Forums (http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php). Do a search there and you should find plenty of good info. Hope this helps.

Hey 347sc did you make one with a pump? i am just curious about passive systems.wondering how a NON powered system really works. Thanx ,Rich

Yes I used a sureflow pump and a nitrous fuel soleniod to keep it from syphoning the line dry.It was activated by a hobbs pressure switch I had set to turn on at 5 psi I also wired a light to come on when the pump turned on.You can make one for around $100.

do you use it just for cooling ? how did you tune for it? my situation is a low boost setup 8 to 10 lbs just looking for a way to cool the intake a little

I had a SCT chip. Air fuel and timing was tuned like normal because it was set up to spray under boost anyway.

It works great as a chemical inter cooler. the water absorbs the heat in the discharge tube and that can allow you to run more timing on the motor and in turn make more power.

It was a 351 with trick flow heads, intake and stage 1 cam with a small turbo setup that I made myself. I have long since sold it and the car.lol I also had the same water/meth kit on my last supercharged car. It didnt have a chip or tune.

The turbo set made around 8 psi before it ran out of turbo.

how well did that setup run? did you get the idea off another site to put together the water inj setup? was it a front mount kit or did you put it in the trunk or hatch? also how did you inject it into the engine?

Turbomustangs.com is where I got all the info. Turbo setup had a front mount. Blower car didn't have a charge cooler.

I had the nozzle after the mass air meter on the turbo set up which was a blow thru.
I had the tank and pump in the hatch on the turbo car and I used the stock washer tank on the blower car. on it I mounted the the solenoid right on the outlet side of the pump and ran the tubing for the nozzle to the discharge tube. that made a pretty stealthy set up because you really couldn't see it. The pump and soleniod was wire together and ran off the hobbs switch I mounted in the back of the intake. I may still have some pics on the laptop at home of the set up.
Do a search on turbomustangs. Tons of info on there with different set ups.
