I don't know if anyone has noticed that I like the 10 Hole wheels...

And with the new Powerplant going in, I need more Wheel and Tire...

So here is the question, which will be followed with why I'm asking, And what the plan is!!!!! :bigthumb

For a Non-mini-tubbed 85 Vert. The fender lips have been rolled, and the normal BFH mods in the fender wells...
What is the maximum wheel width/Largest tire combo I can go, And what is the back spacing ??

And on the front what skinny size and tire should i run, I don't want a real skinny as the car will be Street/Highway driven... Back spacing width ?? I'm thinking a 5 in wheel on the front, But not sure on the B/S...

Thanks in Advance !!! :bigthum

OK here is the plan !!!!!!

I have been talking with a custom wheel maker, And they are willing to cut me a deal, and take a set of 10 Holes, And keep the center, Change the back/spacing to what ever I want, And put a new light rim any width I want..
I can picture in my head, The 10 hole polished with a 2-2 1/2 " lip, And the front backspacing changed and and narrowed to 5" and tucked under another 1" or 2

I don't think they can add any to the front ie. add a lip. I believe all they do is section the wheel down the middle and add the width to the back side. I thought about doing this as well but it is really expensive.

I don't want any more lip on the front... They would be changing the B/S to what ever I can do, as well as taking 2" off the width..

The deal they are offering is no more then I would spend on the wheels I want..

And on the back wheels they will add any lip I want on the face.. That way they will be deep dish 10 holes !!!!

Sounds like a cool plan. I like the 10 holes as well but will be doing the 5 lug swap soon. Keep us posted!

With some work on the inner fender wells you can fit a the same rim/tire combo as a fox body.
15x10 w/ 6.5" bs and a 28x10.5 slick or 275/60/15 radial. Some guys have to run a 1/4" spacer with that combo to get it just right

Who is doing your rim work?
I'm going to be sending off my 4 lug 15x8.5" centerline warriors this week to http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/ to get widened to 15x10" since centerline doesn't and will not custom make me a pair.

Have you checked out this site?
http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/Wide.htm

I didn't know you could add a lip to a factory wheel for the deep dish look. That would be pretty trick.
