Believe it or not when I was on that ship we were in the persian gulf in 1998 and we were cruising along and I was on the flight deck doing some night time maintence on one of our planes and the boat rolled to the left real hard and all of a sudden the deck lit up like we were in a city and about a quarter mile off of our right side was an oil rig. They found out the watchman and the officer of the deck were playing cards and had the ship on cruise control and no one at the wheel.
