View Full Version : Rust bullet or por-15 local??

Is there anywhere local that carries Rust bullet or por-15?? Looking to do a trailer i have in a rust-preventive and these look to be the best ones available... Don't wanna wait on the shipping process... If anyone has a clue on who might carry let me know...

Chassis saver is the sh*t!!! I did the whole underside of my car in it! Dries like armour!!

I've used all 3, if you can find chassis saver local, go ahead and pick up some. It is good stuff.

I bought some chassis saver from Auto Color Supply on Voorhees near Reading road by the Ronald Reagan Highway.

M&M Import Salvage on US 27 in Alexandria KY is a POR 15 dealer.

I think I actually like the POR15 better than the Chassis Saver. I have used both. ;)

how much was the por15? and how do you apply this stuff?

I always brush POR 15 on. As hard as it gets, I'd hate to ruin a gubn by not getting it cleaned out properly.

I also wear nytrile gloves, once the stuff dries, it has to wear off. If I'm under the car or something similar, I'll wear safety glasses.

Another piece of advice for POR 15. Dont open the can. Drill two holes in the bottom of the can (oppisite each other) pour out what you want in a cup and put a sheetmetal screw back in the hole. Turn the can upside down quick enough for the paint to contact the screws on the inside and store the can "upside down" with the screws up.

its made by the same guy who did POR-15, but he was able to do it the way he wanted it to be and it is 10x better.
