What do you think it will put down?

Stock 5.0 HO shortblock w/ AFR main studs and rod bolts, and eyebrows cut.
X cam, straight up
Ford Racing 1.6 roller rockers
AFR 165 heads
Victor Jr. intake (Heads and intake gasket matched)
Holley 650DP
MSD distributor, 6al

Drivetrain losses same as fox- T5 and 8.8 w/3.73

I figure it's a pretty normal setup- someone must have basically the same engine. There is a nitrous plate on it too, but that really can't be weighed in here.

lots of guys on here putting 300 to the wheels with p head combo's ... im guessing 315-325 ...

if you dyno this combo, post it up ... im curious how the 165's match up to the 185's on a 302 ...

I guess it's a good thing there is some spray on there then! That ain't much. My Volvo made more than that on a stock long block!

id say 300-310 if you have stick
i had a stk skortblk twisteded wedge and tfs stg2 cam,edle rpm intake and aod trans made 279rwhp it ran 12.20's at 115 on the motor and 10.57. 127mph on spray was its best.

i feel you on the trick flow package and putting down poor dyno numbers ... i had the same thing with a stage 1 cam ... i was dissapointed ...

its sad that you can get a junk yard engine with p heads and an explorer intake and put down more power, than a $2500 h/c/i kit ...

yeah but he had an auto tranny. i think that's pretty good for an aod though. im glad everyone is saying close to 300rwhp with the combo stated, i have a similar combo going together and that's what im shooting for, anything over 300

I would really like it to touch 11.90s on the motor, but it will probably take a little spray. We'll see!
