Got a new car.
It's a Joe Poty Sand Rover Model T.
They built 240 of them in the late 60s.
My girlfriend dubbed it "That Silly Little Car."

It is a blast! $11/mo insurance, $29 for historical plates, 35MPG, it is cheap as hell to operate!

It has some junk old aftermarket carbs on it- I just rebuilt an old Solex 34 PICT-3 carb to stick on it. Hopefully, that will help the idle and off-idle performance. Other than the carb issues, it is a great little car! Radio is almost loud enough to hear over the exhaust.

We went mudding in it today- it was pretty much awesome. Then we went to the gas station all covered in mud and gunk, and an old guy told me it was obnoxious and too loud.

A good friend of mine owns a huge farm near Yellow Springs- stocked 5 acre pond, ski hill, hunting, etc. that has some trails. One lap takes about 3o mins if you hurry.

Sure was! I stopped by to drop off and install a new ignition kill box for the air shifter on a buddy's bike, and hung out for an hour or so. Good turn out!
