Anyone have a clue what this green box is? Its got a circuit board inside, and I can't for the life of me figure out what is for.

What color are the wires going to it? This is about the only thing I could find.

I am pretty sure its for the airbag.

Air bag wiring is usually covered in yellow loom/covering and the modules are mounted directly to the body. Was this under the climate controls and does it have 14b056 on it anywhere. If so its the airbag module. They were blue in those cars

Thats what I call the "dinger box" for all the annoying warning chimes and such. (headlights, key in, seatbelts un-done etc...) Also if you remove the Airbag bulb from the inst panel, this box will chime 3 or 5 times every time you put the key in... I usually just disconnect it once the mods start.

It was under the climate control stuff. Not sure what numbers, if any, that it had on it. Figured it was something for the air bags. Give it the axe Tricky. :D

Thanks anyway Mark, I think I'll be alright..lol.

Not sure if its airbag related or not. I might go out there this evening and start pulling the tape off the harness and trace it back as far as possible and give it the axe. I had pulled the dash from the car and then the harness later. I can't imagine it goes to anything I'm going to need that's for sure.

Now that the brake lines are moved to the inside of the car, I'm itching to put the interior in it!

Not sure if its airbag related or not.

It's just the chime box...take it out!!!!
