Quick question I installed upper and lower hotchkis control arms in the rear so can I remove the quad shock so i can install wider tires with out wheel hop.

Yea,I would.I removed them on my 86 when I first got it.I didnt have wheel hop problems.Get some good shocks though.

Would worn out housing bushings cause excessive wheel hop? I think mine are bad but the upper and lower control arms looked good when I put them in. No idea what they are but much better than stock, just no name on them.

Any worn out bussings can cause wheel hop.
