Well, it is spring and time to plan the next farm party! What weekends are open in May for you all? We will do this like last time. Saturday, show up anytime, I will be there around noon and set up. We will shoot till dark, then enjoy adult beverages around the fire till when ever.

I am setting the date for this. Saturday June 20TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will post up directions just like I did last time. Sorry, no signs this time. Just like last time, I will leave my shop around 11:00-11:30 am. Anyone can follow me down if you want to get there that early. Or just show up anytime after that. We will shoot off and on till dark 30. Then the guns go away permanately and the adult beverages flow freely.
The farm is a pretty rural place. Our closest neighbor is about a half mile away. We will have a huge bon fire!! and plenty of room if you want to camp. There is beds but I would bring your own sheets and blankets and pillows. This isn't a 5 star resort. LOL. We have an outhouse with a glass door. LOL. Don't worry, the bottom section is painted.

The "lake" near the road is just a retention pond and yes it was dry last time. The real lake is up the hill behind the barn. I need to find the directions I posted in the other thread. They were exact. Everyone who tried them made it.

Just checked out the tannerite site. It is on sale!!! 10 1 pound targets for 89 bucks. Going to order some for the party. I still have a few of the half pounders so we will have to have a demo of both of them. LOL!!!!

I stopped by wally world today. In the sporting goods dept there was Federal .223 ammo for a good price. 100 round value pack for 39.97!!! After tax, it is .42 per round and to pick up 100 for the farm party would be perfect. Walmart has a 6 item limit so you can only get 600 rounds at a time. Just letting everyone know about a good deal.

Stopped by RLC shooting supplies today. Had a gift certificate in my wallet from christmas so I just had to buy something. Picked up 2 30 round polymer mags for my ak-47. Went to the farm today to prepare for the party. The grass is cut low around the fire pit and the shooting range, I tried my best to cut around the lake but will hit it with a weed eater in the morning. The apartment inside the barn is clean. A/C installed as well so it will be cool in there. Only one 4 wheeler runs and the keys will get lost when I open my first beer. LOL!! We need some more targets!! I have a water heater, an old printer, and an old A/C unit. Plus some paper targets to put on frames.
The weather shouldn't be an issue. If it is, I will just save lots of cash on ammo and drink a bunch of beer. The farm is cool like that!!!!

I brought home some ammo, will have some 12 gauge shot and slugs to sell if anyone needs some cheap, also brought home my cleaning supplies, no idea when I last cleaned any of the guns.

Just cleaned the toys. Even fixed my Tec-9. There were 2 areas inside the tube that were worn and catching the bolt. Now it slides smooth and true! Ready for the party now!!!!!

Went to the farm on sunday. Got alot of the grass cut and pulled 2 trees out of the woods to cut up for firewood!! Need to cut down a few more so we have enough for the party. The apartment inside the barn is clean as well!!!! Looking forward to a fun time!!!

lol GPS isnt very helpful when going to Keith's. We have tried using it 2 or 3 x's and none of the roads come up.... it's basically out in the middle of nowhere but the directions he posted are good and it's easy to find.

Except--- we do have him saved in our GPS because we saved our location when we were on his road, since we figured we would be going back again a few times and it makes it a bit easier.

Cleaned all the firearms the other day. I am fully set on AK-47 ammo. LOL. Think I have enough .223 for the AR-15. Tons of 9mm too. The shooting part is ready to go. One week to go. Can't wait!!!!

I made 2 target holders today while my work truck is getting some work done. I used 2 x 4 studs to make a frame that we can staple or tape a body sillouette paper target to. I have tons of them so got that covered. The neat thing I did was drill 5/8 inch holes all down the side of each stand. I have a 4 ft bar of rebar. Placed in between the frames, we can hang stuff on it and shoot stuff like brake rotors, pie plates, anything we want. The holes go from a few inches from the top down to about 2 feet from the ground. I am kind of proud of these things. I don't have hardly any money in them. And if they don't fall over or we don't put too many holes in them, they should last for a few parties.
