Listen here Jack!! There's 2 sides to every story and you have failed to tell the other side of it, so I will. You claimed over a year ago that you were trying to help my wife out by selling her that car. It was raining when we went to pick the car up and I looked at pretty good and took your word on everything. I thought you being a member in good standing on stangbangerz that you wouldn't try to screw me over. Especially after what my wife had just went thru.

You also said you weren't pressed about getting the wheels back but you definitely needed your straps back. So after I got the car home and the rain stopped I really checked it out. Well low and behold you did not mention nor did I catch half of the stuff that was wrong with it. Now I by no means was expecting a car that was in tip top shape but I was expecting you to be honest with me on the cars history and the work done to it. So I had plated come out and take a look at it and the car had some serious body work done to it and appeared to have been wrecked.

So I called you and made you aware of what you already new but failed to mention. And you did nothing or offered nothing to try to make it right. All I got out of you was denial and I dont know what to tell you. So after 2 conversations with you I attempted to call you 3 more times and you refused to answer my call and did not return my calls. I left you voice mails with each call. So last month your brother pm's me and wants the wheels and tires that were on the hooptie with curve feelers made out of cheese cloth and bondo that you sold my wife. I told him I dont have them anymore. He asked about the straps and I told him that I have those.

And this my friend is the list of trash that you sold me. Okay first off, the car was masked off with regular masking tape, then looked like it was rolled outside and got all kinds of wet and then dried, so the masking tape was all stuck on it like a plaster mold. Roof was wavey, hatch was filled in with bondo on top, and underneath, BOTH quarters were either wiped out in a wreck or were rusted out BAD because there was sheet metal tack welded on both sides and the car was sooo full of bondo that the car didnt even have body lines, the wheel wells were chock full of bondo to the point where you couldnt even feel where the inner wheelhouse met the outer fender lip... it was just shoved full of filler. The car had about an 8 inch or larger hole in the drivers side under the seat brace, the passenger side had a weak floor pan. Rockers were rusted out in front of the rear wheel and had AT LEAST 1/2 to 3/4 inch of bondo in them and was cracking outwards. Doors were full of bondo in the sides, but surprisingly were not rusted out. Car was hack jobbed together at one time to be a V8 car even though it was a 4cyl car, front end was a little tweaked but the frame rails and everything up front were ok.

I would be more than happy to meet up with you to give you your straps or I can mail them to you. I dont have your # anymore so if you want I will pm you my #.

Also I could have been a dick and dragged your ass thru the mud last year just like you're trying to do too me but I kept it under wraps and learned a lesson.

So before you decide to drag my name thru the mud a year later tell both sides of the story Jack!!!

well you know the deal was i got my 4 tires back because you forgot the lug nuts for yours, and you forgot your straps and let you use my straps. we were spoused to meet at the track some day and never heard back from you to get my tires and straps back so i guess you must of thought i screwed you over and sold the wheels

So since you were able to go back a year and dig up this old thread. Where's your thread trying to contact me for the tires and straps. Like I said in my last post I left you 3 different voice mails after this sale. I left you 2 on that Monday and 1 on that Tuesday about meeting up with you to give you your stuff back and to try one last attempt at making this transaction right and I got no return call.

not like i really f in care about all this in the first place i sanded the car down and i didn't find that much bondo i don't even care but the car could have be scraped out for more then what you paid for is so just was this shit up and stop worrying about it

Matt brought this back from the dead,I didnh't. There's nothing I can do to change the past. Like I told you in our PM's I have his straps. I would be more than happy to give them back. They have been rolled up sitting in a box. I even took them with me to E20 back on the 30th of April because Matt posted up he was going to go if the weather held off.

But like I said earlier after several attempted phone calls and voice mails with no return call. I just said screw it and he will get with me when he's ready too. So I guess a year later now, he's ready.

Ive dealt with Steve before and never had any problem. A year later is a bit much to bring something up it seems especially since it seems like he tried to get a hold of you. Just my 2 cents.

Well either way it's been over a year now and they went with the car when I sold it. Like I said in an earlier post I left you 3 different voice mails to try to work something out on the car and return your stuff to you. But I never heard back from you and assumed you were avoiding me because of the issues with the car. Now a year later I hear from your brother and now this thread has rose from the dead. So I am done with this and I am not dragging this on forever. If you want to comment any further or want to talk to me on the phone then PM me and I will give you my # again and we can talk.
