Pretty cool !! What RPM's do you shift at with it being a stock engine ??

Same RPM on all shifts or different between 1-2, 2-3,etc ??

Already said it on the corral but great video...

Is the motor still staying sealed? I would love to see what you could do with some 1.7's and an explorer intake:D Maybe p-heads:evilgrin:

Thanks Scott, I shift it at 5,000 rpm's for every gear change but the last race of '08 I tried a higher shift point (5,400) and saw my 1/8th mile mph increase by .15 mph.

What is your suspension ?

My suspension is as follows:

1. Flaming River manual rack

2. UPR K-member kit with coilovers/A-arms and 130lb springs

3. Strange 10-way adjustable struts

4. No front sway bar

5. Lakewood lift bars

6. Ground Pounder double adjustable uppers they are out of business now but basically the same as HPM mega byte jrs

7. Koni adjustable rear shocks

These parts have aided me to 60' routinely in the mid-low 1.60's at any of the 3 local tracks in my area........even if the track prep is somewhat mediocre. :)

So you're still on the stock rear end and you haven't broke it yet going 1.6? I'm terrified of putting mine on slicks and hooking that hard.

I'm terrified of putting mine on slicks and hooking that hard.Yes still on the stock rear end with all the accompanying hardware with the traction-lok having extra clutches but soon I'll be upgrading as time/money allows.
