Can anyone on here explain to me why, when i drive or move my '92 automatic and shift it back to park the son of a bitch will not start in park? This has been driving me nuts for ever and was wondering if someone can tell me? I have to shift it to neutral, by the way this is the second automatic i have had that this has happened on!

I had it happen to my first 91LX too.. then it seemed like it would get stuck and wouldnt wanna shift out of park or into it sometimes...

I had this happen on my '92 as well. It started after I put a shift kit in. I readjusted the cable and it took care of the problem.
