ok i just bought this trans and was going to use it for parts
mainly the input shaft anyhow i found out its a 4 cyl t5 so their is no reason for me keeping it
i have not had it in a car so i know nothing about it but everything seems to be fine as far as shifting it and looking it over
$100 buys it firm or i would trade it for a 70mm tb or alum drive shaft

trans is complete with shifter no bell

The pilot we have used was for a GM car, works like a champ.

You can go to Autozone and get the pilot bearing for the 2.3 and it fits right in the 5.0 crankshaft. I've done a few of these for people because they like the lower gears in the 4 cyl tranny. Also there is a guy that does machining for me that will make a steel bushing that slides on the input shaft that will allow you to use the stock 5.0 pilot bearing. Either way it will work.

I will keep you up on the progress. Its a little whiney in gear under load. Goes in all gears fine sitting still. When moving 1 and 2 are great. 3 grinds a bit, even at low speeds, 4 is not able to be put it as with 5. When you try to get it out of 3 it doesnt want to come out.
