So does it come with air shocks in the back so you can jack it up real high? How about a chrome barefoot gas pedal cover?

There are pictures floating out there of early production Camaros that have wheel weights on the calipers.

GM North America Cheif Engineer Al Oppenheiser released some times and statistics on the 2010 Camaro SS and 2010 Camaro V6 as well.

The 2010 Camaro SS has a 0-60mph time of 4.6 Seconds and a Quarter Mile time of 13.3 @ 108mph with the automatic, and 13.4 @ 108 with the manual transmission.

Not impressed.

Did the press release mention the weight? I think that thing weighs in right at 4,000 lbs doesn't it?

Pulled that quote off another forum so I didn't see/read the actual release. But yeah it's a pig. Let me see if I can find the weight. Here it is:

Looks like around 3900 lbs. Only 422 HP as well.

Didnt try to impress you.

Car has 100+hp more and only 400lbs heavier the the 2010 Mustang and Big ass Brembo brakes at around the same price tag. And as long as we are internet racing Car and Driver went I believe 13.0@ 111 so the potential is there. Thats why they make more the just one car, everybody can buy what they want.

Wasn't trying to take a dig at you. I'm not impressed with a HP rating that the car doesn't back up in speed. That probably has much to do with the gearing. Slap a suitable gear, DR's and and I'm sure it will be 12.5's or lower. I don't understand the concept of trying to make a fuel efficient sports car but that's GM for you. I will say that the higher HP numbers didn't save the Camaro the last time and it won't this time either. The following is from the Car and Driver article:

"Also disappointing are the hard plastics that we had hoped were banished from GM interiors, but they’ve clearly found their way into the Camaro. :lol:Furthermore, the inset dashboard trim piece that was to be rendered—at least optionally—in a cool illuminated band of light-tube trickery has become a cloth insert. It looks good in a contrasting color, but it’s drab when it matches the rest of an all-black cabin. And finally, as great as the high-mounted “squircle-shaped” gauges and cool center stack look, the script is tiny and the buttons can be ergonomically challenging in operation."

So the Camaro has been reborn. Sadly back into it's previous form.....fast junk. I can't wait until I see one.
