i am carburating my 89 coupe, and im running my stock fuel injection pump,i have already had to bypass the fuel relay and i have grounded it as well, now the problen is finding a key on for the hot wire,so that the fuel pump runs at all times when the key is on.I have no clue what would be the best place to run it for the key on,id rather not run it to the fuse box,but if its the last resort thats what i have to do.Please help.this is frickin aggrevating.

Why did you by pass your relay??? When my 92 was converted to carb, no wiring was really eliminated. Just a regulator added. Fuses, and relays are your friend;)

Ohhh....I see. Would something in the radio side work, as long as it's on a fuse??

I used the connection for the E brake handle to switch on my fuel pump relay. It goes hot when the key is on and is right there next to the relay under the driver's seat.

i still have the computer, and can put it back in,but i was told that the fuel pump would not stay on all the time, because the fuel system is regulated by the ecu,and that regulates it based on the pressure in the fuel system.

Use the key-on wire from the radio.
In the engine bay by the wiper motor/brake booster it the square plug that the factory efi harness ties to the chassis harness, I think it has 6 wires, maybe wrong haven't gone out and looked at my car. Should have the 12v+ constant and switched also has starter relay wire on it. That is were I made all my conections for my msd and fuel relays. Pm me I can grab a pic in the morning if you need it.

That should work too but, with the relay being under the drivers seat it would be easier to grab a wire in the console or under the dash.

So where is your e-brake handle?? There is a wire at the base of it. Can't really get much closer than that.......

You could just run a wire from the key on in the column...that's not THAT far from the relay.
Stop being a lazy ass T..

Why don't you use the factory fuel pump wiring, that's where my Holley black is wired to. It also keep the inertia switch wired into the system.
