The Rasterbator is a program that turns regular photos into a dot matrix printed poster that you can decide the output size. It converts an image to a .pdf which breaks the image up into a page by page document that when printed out lays out into a tiled poster. You can choose to print it out in just about any number of pages you want, from 2 to 200+ pages if you can handle the task of laying it out and if you can afford the ink to print it. If you're creative you can make some really cool images with it...like big posters for your garage, kids rooms etc.

The program is a free download and can be found here http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

The bigger you make them the cooler they get. It used to be that you had to upload a pic to their website and you were limited to how small you could make the dots, and that made it really challenging to make a good poster but now with the standalone version you can drop them all the way down to 1mm each (used to be 7mm upload only). I set mine to 3mm usually...on some images if you try to go smaller the shadows get distorted.

Anyone who likes this should go to the site and browse through the gallery and see some of the stuff people come up with. There are some that are probably 80 sheets at least that cover the corner where 2 walls meet and it makes for a really cool effect.
