I am tired of trying to fix my car and decided to switch to carb.
I know, I know everyone will say dont do it but I want to get it on the road.
What all do I need to switch and what all do I need to do?

I have trick flow street Heat intake, 75mm throttle body, egr spacer if wanted. and new coil. 255lph fuel pump.

I will trade my stuff for decent carb stuff.

I've not done it, I hate the electronic bullshit  because I'm an electronic idiot... but I would imagine you would need an 1985 style distributor, ignition box, coil, throttle cable and adjustable fuel pressure regulator that can be set down to 6.5-7.0 p.s.i.. Not sure about the return, if you just block it off or what, but you may be further ahead to put an aftermarket fuel pump on for carbed applications. I would think you would have to change the pickup in the tank to be rid of the internal pump. With me having no clue if the computer controls the gauges or not, and the effects this would have without the EFI is unknown to me. I had thought about putting a carbed 302 in my 95 3.8 when it puked a head gasket and cracked a head, but I would have had to wire up the engine (easy), then run aftermarket gauges, or figure a way to wire them to work w/o the computer.

That's all I have. I'm sure someone more in the know of the electronic crap can help.

I'll run a carb on anything I'll build until they pry it off my cold dead engine!

Signed, Mr. Scared of Change

Now with the wide band O2 sensors and meters, it's a snap to tune a carburetor.

I have a Holley Contender Intake and 1850 (600cfm) AFB on my coupe, I am looking to go EFI. Is that of any interest? I am running the Duraspark and 85 style distributor. How much of your Harness etc would you want to get rid of?

what ever I wouldnt need, I could get rid of. Im not really sure if I even need my computer do I? I kinda want to keep my oil pressure gauge and temp working on the dash. But who know for the right stuff it could go. Let me look up the holly and stuff and I will tell you.
