i think i found it. the pipe that goes from the radiator to the fire wall has what looks like coolent on it. right next to the headers.

I asked ford and they said that it was the ac line

A/C lines don't have coolant in them, only freon. Sounds like a heater hose leak to me. Does the smoke smell sweet or like oil burning on the exaust? Sweet smell is coolant.

thats what my dad said. but i took it to ford and they said that is was ac lines. it smells like fingernail polish remover lol. guy at ford said that someone could have put a die in it. it looks like coolant but doesnt smell like it. and both the heat and ac work still

that sounds kinda weird. Unless you let someone dye your system recently to look for an A/C leak. And it just so happens to be at the firewall.

I don't know how related Ford is to Sterling (big trucks), but the Sterling I drive is exactly the same, as the old Fords. I nailed a turkey, right smack in the middle of the grill and it ruptured the A/C condenser. It looked just like antifreeze, but the I/C and radiator, were unharmed. Our mechanic said that it was factory installed die, since no A/C service had ever been done, to it.

My 95 has a small leak from the ac line and it is green in color. Mine drips on the driver side though. It smokes pretty good when i dont drive it for a week or so.

The funny thing is my ac works just fine.

Si. Mine works just fine also. i think if that is what it is i just gonna pull the whole thing out. and get an ac delete kit

To fix mine i just have to buy new lines for like 200. I am going to do it when i do my motor swap.

I dont want to redo it and then have it leak out by accident when i am swapping the motor out.

Personally i would not get rid of my ac unless it was going to cost a shit ton to fix.
