stock t-5 bellhousing? this isnt something im trying to break a record on, just wondering if i should be considering a blowproof yet. i am going to pacemaker tommorrow to see how this new motor will proform and it has been bothering me thinking about breaking it. im hoping for 6.90 - low 7's in the 8th. whats your guys/girls opinion?

Its simply a safety factor, higher horsepower cars with clutches flying apart like shrapnel is no place for a stock bell unless you dont care for your feet and ankles. be safe man, thats just cast aluminum seperating you from alot of flying parts much harder than aluminum.

If I'm not mistaken...you need a blowproof bellhousing to be nhra legal at either 10.99 or 11.49 in the 1/4...can't remember which. Your right there with those 1/8th mile times your shooting for.

QuickTime makes some really nice ones, much lighter than a mcleod or lakewood.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you need a blowproof at any e.t., if you are running slicks.

my best pass was a 7.35 with a 1.90 60ft. i was running 13 psi in the tires, traction was a issue. what do you guys recomend running in a 10.5 wide et street slick?
