how many guys are running without egr and how do you have the throttle cable set up.

do i have to use a egr block off or dummy egr plate?

on my explorer motor I just bolted the TB to the upper intake. Cable was located to the top with a custom bracket I made. I also cut the TB arm and relocated it 90* as well.

I dont have an explorer intake but I deleted me EGR and went with the piece you posted the link to. It is a very nice piece, my only issue was that the cruise control part of the throttle cable would hit the heater tube but that was easily solved by cutting off the cruise control.. it didnt work anyway.
