It is just me or is everyone else getting bombarded with spam in your email? Its now more than just Viagra or money I have inherited from some dead African dignitary. I used to have 2-3 a day get kicked by the filters, now its like 10-12. I'm also getting a couple daily that the filters don't catch.

Does anyone really fall for this shit?

I need some creative methods to deal with these folks.......

A local bike shop owner put it to me like this: "There is an ass for every seat..."

Spam is driven by demand, if no one ever fell for it they would give up and try some other grift.

Besides, my portion of the prince's inheritance check should arrive early next week.:)

I've noticed an increase in mine as well.
I hope my portion isn't cut by your all's cuts!!

Gmail catches it all.

It is only back to "normal" spam levels. It was quite slow once one huge spammer was shut down, McColo in California.

Some reading if you have the time

I've found the "delete" key to be rather effective...

My gmail account worked really well filtering spam for the past couple years, but in the past 2 weeks or so, I have probably gotten 15-20 spam emails that the filter didn't catch. I don't know why, but I hope it stops soon.
