Well,

figured i'd start a thread, even though the car is already a beast.

First thing i did was to get the sequential turn signals, mgw shifter, jegs ball with button for line lock.

Got all that on yesterday..

Dialed the boost down to 17psi and the car is making 595/538.

I have plans to add a set of GT Supercar Fuel Pumps and an SCT 3000 MAF. Power wise that is all I need. I should be able to shift closer to 7k then and not worry about pegging the meter or pumps.

I may be doing a solid axle swap as well with Moontang and will picking up some 31 spline axles and carrier.

For now I also added off todays trade in a set of 18x9 and 18x10 rear FR500 wheels courtesy of mr Daniel Meyer!!! (they liked the chromes better on the red anyway)

1. The car is almost completely build. Besides the mods you intend to do. What else can you do to it?
2. How many mods can you do to it before you sell it within a few months?

Looking good.... I haven't been on here much lately and just now saw your actually got a cobra. Glad you finally got a stang again.....now you can pour your life savings in it haha!! I love the chameleo stangs though, very unique... we have seen 4 different ones in the area this summer at car shows already.... but I am sure yours will be the fastest!

got my diff and axles ordered today

ended up going with strange stuff. don't want to worry about breaking

me and scott will probably be swapping this weekend or next

also picked up a prochamber to clean up the hack job on the welded in cats

well, we got the solid axle in about 2 weeks ago, everything seems to be working good. I did lose my fully adjustable tokicos in the rear, with the swap

went to the track, and made 5 passes.

1st shakedown was 11.76, 2nd was a 11.66
started coming out a little harder and with a 1.601 and 1.600 went 11.36 and 11.31

5th pass i tried just dumping it at 5200 and it fell on it's face, i'm pretty sure it just bogged from hooking too much, hard to believe but some of the other guys were bogging at 5600-6k

last night me and one of the techs here put in a granatelli coil over kit and 4 bolt caster cambers, re aligning it today

the kit is a 200 spring rate, so i'll see how it does, if she doesn't want to lift enough i'll go down a little

gave it all night to settle and it was back to 26" off the ground. I raised her up this morning and now she's at 26.75" didn't have any k member hits in on the way to work for once

on the real big bumps fast i am getting a little bit of popping and on some sharp turns, don't know if thats just inherint on coil overs or not

That car looks great!

Sounds like typical coil over noise. I don't think you will get any lift with 200# springs. I have some 14" 175lbs springs if you decide to drop down a little.

got the lrs bare subframes on today, pretty nice for $99 i think, had the pre welded tabs, full length, had the seat braces and the torque box reinforcements

took it to morehouse and they hooked it up, brought it back to work and had the undercoating done over them, looks real good underneath now.

also put on my 8" shorty antenna.

my two step came today too, so i'm hoping kenny has time sunday to hook a brother up!!

2nd trip out pulled a best of 11.04@128.93

i think a little more seat time would get me a 10.8.

update......

I added an axle brace to the car and had the axle tubes welded, so i shouldn't have to worry about any probs out of the rear end

i am going back to a cobra style wheel, i love the 03/04 cobra wheel and they just arrived off the boat monday. they finally wised up and went to 18x10.5's for the rear

so, i will be 18x9 in the front and 18x10.5 rear, i know some like the fr500's, but imo the 03/04 cobra wheel is one of the best wheels out there and in 18's will look sick

chrome moly should have been ordered today, hopefully get my cage done in the next couple of weeks

lastly should be ordering up a drum of 104 unleaded and swapping pullies and having ken dial in the race gas tune

hope for some mid to low 10's
