Traded the mach in today. Picked up a 03 cobra vert with 9300 miles. Thing is mint. Thanks beefcake for car.

I traded my 03 Mustang GT for the 03 Cobra I have now. The car was light night day different on way it drove and the bottom end torque was amazing. I've never driven a Mach 1 but what drove you into trading?

I've always like the way the cobra looked. I was also thinking about s/c the mach. Figured it would cost me around the same if I forged it and s/c the mach as it would just to buy a cobra.

It wasn't to bad at all. At least till you did the rectal exam and I felt two hands on my shoulders. :eek: Again thanks Terry

I think driven right a Mach 1 is pretty fast stock. Really surprized me seeing one go 13.1@107 at Edgewater. A Cobra isn't much faster stock for stock but simple mods really wake them up.

I need to ask around and see what works best. I know a pulley and tune works real well. What else should I consider?

This is a popular set-up and one that I do have. What's nice is my car didn't need a extra tensioner since the belt grips to metal better than alunimum. Kind of nice that I can keep the belt guard on and everyone thinks I'm just have a stock pullied Cobra.

I would look into getting some Subframe connectors. I'm going to start looking for some myself.

These are the first mod's Id make. Get rid of that catted H pipe and get your self a good off road X or H pipe then a tune at MD! O yea a pully also:bigthumb

Consider lowering springs and Maximum Motorsports' FLSFC and lower chassis brace--your vert will handle much tighter. I know the Terminator verts have a lower chassis brace, but the MM is much stronger. NICE car you have there!
