Sand Rover Model T on a 1966 VW Beetle chassis, 1600cc dual port engine, 4 speed. Runs and drives great. Fiberglass body is in great shape, paint has a few scratches and chips, but it shines up really nicely. The body is 1 of 240 built by Poty Enterprises in the late '60s. It is an extremely rare body, and almost impossible to find in this condition. It is absolutely streetable, and I drive it every day it is nice enough to go topless. It is titled as a 1966 Assembled Dune Buggy. I pay $13/month for insurance, and get about 28MPG. Parts are cheap and readily available, and it is extremely easy to work on- I can have the engine out in 15 minutes with hand tools only. The chassis has been converted to 12 volt and a dual master cylinder upgrade, and has been shortened to fit the body.
I am looking for $2500 out of it. I am open to most trades except quads, Saturn station wagons, Astro Vans, farm implements, ratty old trucks, etc. I am in the market for pre-'70 Bugs, ultralights, Volvos, and sport bikes.
