I was told Thur that I needed a motor for my Zx2 so I bought one on Fri from Strickers.. Found out today my motor is fine and just wondering if they will return it??

They have returned stuff like that for me before. You will pay a restocking fee of about 15% or you can take something else.

Should be no problem if it is in the same condition as when you received it from them. I deal w/ them quite often, never a problem, the run a class act yard.

I did not even take it off the crate.. The guy working on my car was sure it needed a motor without checking it out:mad:. I made him do a compression test and it was fine!!!:dummy: He had it out of time :screwy: He will not get my business any more...:flipoff:

Yep... Dave said it needs a motor:screwy: I found out after the fact that the zx2 is a non interference engine and he had it out of time:doh:

That's pretty bad. Even all the hillbillies in Hamilton know 2.0 Zetec's aren't interference motors. That's an easy driveway sidejob wrapped in less than 2 hours. While far from being power houses they are shockingly resiliant.
