I have been fighting this thing for the last 3 days. It's always had a small exhaust leak and I finally got it to seal up so I could dyno it. Driving it home I hit a pothole but it didn't bottom out. Then all of a sudden eeeehhehehehehehee from the exhaust. So I was under the car for the last three days, burn the hell out of my arm and it's still leaking. I am just simply pissed. I hate 96-04 exhaust systems.

Who's h do you have? And where is it leaking? I have a Pypes x that has a slight leak at the passenger catback. My fault though I had dropped it and bent the end a little so now it doesn't fit right.

my BBK x pipe never leakes and I have never had a problem with the long tube set up either. I guess I have just been lucky.

I am going to buy long tubes as well but I'm waiting until I can scratch the money up for a new k-member and coil overs.

Long tubes would be a good move and I bet you will see a nice gain with the blower.

02mingrygt has the right idea. Save yourself a lot of work and do it all at once. You might also want to think about a clutch if you are doing the long tubes. Most of them makes trans removal a real PITA.
