I'm thinking about buying HID kit and was wondering if anyone has experience with these? What is the best company-Kit? I see there are meny different types 35w-55w, digital, etc. I was leaning towards 55 watt digital kit. www.retrosolutionsllc.com, www.euroeffects.net. Any info would be appreciated.

I bought a set off ebay for the bike and I love em. Lots of light and very bright plus plug and go install. I can light up street signs a 1/2 down the road on high beam.

I forgot who I bought them from but I paid less then $80 for the complete kit.

I have a 35W, 6000K BiXenon kit from Retro Solutions and I love them. Plug & play. Great customer service too. I don't know if they still offer it, but when I got mine, it was covered with a lifetime warranty. Good product, good company.

I have the VVME kit on my Explorer and they are great. High quality units. I got them about 2 years ago for $75 shipped.

Looks thike they are closer to $50 now for the single beam about $75 for the dual beam. I have the 6000K kit in the future I will be going with the 4300

got a buddy with them on his gmc envoy with blue bulbs, there nice, and very bright, but you may piss people off when your behind them lol

I install HID's on the side. After running a kit I got from a friend on a truck website for about a year and a half, I ordered up 3 more kits, sold them, then 2 came to me to install them for them (HID kit and wiring harness). I have an 8k set on my daily driver 03 sierra and am putting the same on the wife's 06 Equinox this weekend (bday present). If you need any assistance or information, please let me know.

easily dealt with with proper aiming.
I have never been flashed in the Explorer.

I'm lookin' at getting a set for the Escort, but what I'm wanting to do is a retrofit with projector housings. Still haven't gotten around to that, haha

sounds like everyone likes them. On the BiXenon(dual beam) is there a difference between high and low beam or should I just run single beam?

did you have any issues dealing with VVME? why are you going with the 4300k instead of the 6000k? Are there kits good quality?

Zero problems. They were delivered within 7 days.
Nice product. The ballasts are sturdy and the wiring harnesses have nice plugs with good gauge wiring.
I have had them for about 2 years now with zero problems. It's complete plug and play so can be removed at any time to go back to halogen.

The 6000K have a little too much blue tint to them than I like (when looking at the car). The output seen from the vehicle is white. The 4300k has less of a blue tint while looking at the vehicle.

You will want dual beams if you don't want to loose your high beams assuming it's for the Mustang.
My explorer has two separate bulbs 1 for high and 1 for low. So I still have high beam capabilities.

brand new envoy from the dealership he works at, so its all aimed right? im assuming, he paints vehicles for a living, so im sure he knows how to put lights back on and align them lol

You will get there! I cant wait to see your car done. Its with out a doubt one of the sickest looking cars ive ever seen. I might get me set once mine is up running.

might. might not.
Depends on the halogen housings. Might need to lower them a bit. there is a lot more refraction with Xenon than Halogens.
That's why factory Xenons are in projectors.

The best way to do it is in a projector housing, but it can be done in a nonprojector housing. just takes a little aiming sometimes.
