I have been running a C4 pro comp transmission from performance automatic. I have been to the track a few times this year and it seems to have held up until this weekend...
I went over to my dad's yesterday to pick him up to go to QS&L. I noticed there was a trail of tranny fluid all the way up his driveway and then a steady stream pouring out of it (only while the car is running)

I haven't pulled the tranny yet (doing after work tonight), what is the chance it is just the front pump seal? How hard is that to replace once out?

It came with the lifetime warranty, but if it is simple/cheap i'd rather not pay for shipping to/from PA.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

Had the same issue w/ mine. Having Steve at Hitech take care of it.

Yeah, then it would have been like a 12.5 @ 140 mph

Me and bk figured out the problem, the transmission cooler lines we rested against the exhaust and one had bubbled up and split causing fluid to leak everywhere

Running rubber tranny line? Thats a good way to burn one to the ground. Unless it was braided stuff then route it different.

Damn Stolly, do you sleep!

But yeah, just used 3/8" transmission cooler line and obviously need to re route it better this time.

And they leave those on the counter,so you can grab a huge fistfull.Mcdonalds frowns on you when you take multiple straws. That and you have to click the little straw dispenser down ALOT to get some.
