i have a 30 over forged piston stock rod 306 comp. ratio is 9:5:1 what is it capable of reliably supporting a paxton novi 2000? heads are 165 afr with 61 cc chamber. if its holds 2gether what is an aprox rwhp? number i can expect?

If it is a stock block, that novi will push it till it splits. I would tune it conservative.

well with long tubes x pipe no back pressure and the ported heads i think it will be around 7-8 psi but i do need a good dyno tuner and im located in winchester v.a. so if anyone knows a tuner in my area im looking and yes i kno the stock blocks are weak but i am only lookin at makin like 4-500 rwhp in a 2600 pound notch and i really wanna know if the stock block is capable of handling 4-500?

4-500 is iffy.Your pushing it,but ive seen higher HP numbers from different people with stock block.

I split a stock block in two with a 347 stroker making about 500hp na. The only thing that kept it together was the DSS main brace. Turbo is the way to go if you want to make power on a stock block imo

I made over 500 with my old blower set up. Didn't hurt anything. I have also spit the crank out of a stocker.lol Its all in the tune and how hard you abuse it. A stick car will be harder on it due to the clutch shoving the crank forward and will eat up the thrust bearing.

Have fun with it and save for better parts.
