Can a 5.0 bell housing and trans. bolt to a 2.3L. Or can a 5.0 trans. Bolt to a 2.3L bell housing?

My auto trans. went bad in my 4cyl. mustang and my grandpa has all the stock stuff out of his 5.0. What all can I use if any of it?

Is the 5.0 transmission an auto, or manual?

The bellhosuing will not work but the trans will. You need the correct pilot bearing the 2.3 trans has a smaller shaft.

That all just a pilot bearing? So the T5 will bolt to a 4cyl. bell housing?

Yes. so long as they were both mustang t5's
