By now you may have heard that I was shooting for 10s on my stock 302 and ended up running 11.36 @ 122.4 with a 1.71 60'. Some might say I missed running tens because the car didn't 60 foot in the 1.50s like it should've. It could even be said that we came up short because we only made 12lbs of boost instead of 15lbs like we'd originally planned.
However, now that the car is apart, I've found more evidence as to why the car didn't run as strongly as it should have:
1) Maybe the 10.5:1 AFR was holding us back??

yeahhhhhh....ummmm..... that was a little rich, but I figured it contributed to the longevity of the motor.
2) The REAL reason it was a pooch ... [drumroll please] ... it was probably this GAY azz distributor!!
