King Cobra clutch kit ??

Did they change the Pressure plate on these kits recently ??

I just yanked mine out and it's been scraping against the bellhousing. I hope that explains part of the noise that's been coming from my clutch area.

I'm guessing these are probably now made in China ??!!

I had the same problem with one I installed for my neighbor. We just had to grind a couple places on the inside of the bell housing. I was pissed to have to pull it all back apart though. (esp after doing 7 or 8 of these with no problems in the past)

I went to the web site he bought it from and found the small print at the bottom saying "89 bell housings will need clearanced .020". I though all bellhousings were the same. I'm sticking with my SPEC units from now on.:mad:
