Let me guess, you found a mower you like and its going to cost you $500.

No, Dave (black horse) is hooking me up with a mower. I just don't have time for anymore projects, so I am selling these for what I feel they are worth.

You could probably get more out of them than you are asking. People in my area have been buying them to build pulling tractors and I have heard of some going for over $500 without engines. Should sell fast. Good luck.

Thanks I think the 102 with the 3 speed gear box is what the pulling guys want, but I am not very knowledgable of those pulling things. I really like both of these mowers. They are very heavy duty for a mower. I just wish it was not $700-$1000 to rebuild those cast iron Kohlers.

If a 10 hp Kohler falls into my lap, then I am keeping the 102.

I wish mowers were still made like the old ones. How many years has that thing been used? I got 3 years out of a Huskee before it took a crap.

Holy smoke you were right. I just got a call from a guy in Indy. He wants them both and is paying me to deliver. Craigslist wins again.

My mother in law bought the 149 new and mowed til two years ago with it. It is a mid-70's model. I got the 102 3 years ago and it has been great also. It just felt cool to mow with that old tank.

The hydrostat unit can be exchanged for a shift type transmission so dont be surprised if they both become pullers. I knew a guy who pulled them for a long time and he bought a transmission / rearend assembly from a guy for $350. Good job.
