I broke my aluminum DS at the last UMTR race and put the stocker 2 piece back in last weekend. Now when I let out the clutch there is a clunking sound and it feels like it pulls the car down, but it moves forward. It backs up fine with no noise or anything. What are some causes of this so I know where to look? Someone mentioned they thought the ring gear could be chipped or stripped, which may have caused the original breakage. Thanks for your help!

Pull the drive shaft off, with the wheels off the ground and the car safely supported check your pinion shaft for movement (in and out), binding and lash during rotation, etc. I'm thinking the driveshaft breakage was a symptom of your issue, not the root cause.
