I have a friend that just purchased an 09 gt with the glass roof, and was wondering what would be the best sounding exhaust setup. And also the best bang for the money. Thanks Mike

When it comes to exhaust alot of it just personal preference. I like Flowmaster mufflers on Modular motors myself. Magnaflow is pretty good on 3V's I think also.

I've got CORSAs on my '06 GT 'vert, I love them. A big selling point for CORSA is zero cabin drone. They're also made of aircraft stainless steel and should last the life of the car. CORSAs are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. :D

Depends on what you consider '"best". I have the FRRP Stingers with an O/R H. It does have some drone. I think its has the deepest most aggressive tones. I have heard most of the axle backs for the S197s. The MACs have a nice deep tone as well.

On my 06 I had
Flows...ok but not as good as on a fox
SLP loudmouths...really good but has a drone
Magnaflows...I think were the best bang for the buck.

My 06 has the Mac O/R ProChamber and axle backs. I think it sounds great. On the Aggressive side IMO.

I have Roush o/r mufflers w/offroad h-pipe and I like the sound. There's a lot of drone but it's not too overbearing and sounds beastly.
My fiance has the same mufflers but borla longtubes w/ o/r x-pipe but we bought him a new x-pipe because he doesnt like the raspiness of it. His doesn't have nearly as much drone as mine though for some reason. He also has a high octane tune and all that jazz.
Just depends on your preference but it's nice to hear something before you purchase it.... its expensive constantly switching your exhaust.
