is it sticking as far as the slide pins are'nt working or the piston is not moving back? i can't remember on mustangs if they have the stupid self adjusters on them for the e brake, if the piston is not pushed past the bore then i would think you need to clean the slider pins just kinda of guessing atm not in person to see what its doing :)

Are you talking about the caliper bolts that hold them onto the rotors? Or the caliper itself wont slide off the rotors?

seems not to be sliding off the rotors, makes a kind of rubbing noise, almost like its time to change the pads, but its plenty of pad left, was told by brake tech at a local repair place that the caliper was not releasing

Well while some may disagree (as in other threads) have you tried taking the cap off the brake fluid resivoir? It might relieve some pressure for the piston to slide off. If not Id say time for a new caliper.

yeah have to wind the piston back in to get it off you cant compress the rears :( bfh to get it off the rotor then wind it back with a special tool and does almost sound like silder pin is frozen
