View Full Version : I am back with my cobra
Well I am back. The drive to Ct to drop off the porsche went great. One of the best highway driving cars I have ever driven. Got there waaaay to early and had to sleep in the damn car. I an not a huge guy but I am also not a little guy. I slept ( kinda ) in the hatch area. Five hours later Ed got there and we did the sale. He even threw in an extra 100.00 so I left with 5300. He paid for my plane ticket. So Off I went to tampa. Looked at the cobra and it needed a little help but nothing to bad. STOLE IT ( the guy was in military and being sent out ) and off I went. Car has all new a/c stuff, good sterio, some crazy alarm, very few aftermarket things done, so I have an almos clean slate. If anyone wants to trade some rims let me know. I need upper a arm bushings done and I will be putting in 4.10. Other than that Not much will be done to it for a little bit. I will be looking for front and rear tan leather seats as well.

ohh well, If you knew me it would make complete sense. Before you ask I did run the vin and it is a cobra. Its a 1997 with 111,000 miles on it

Yup...facing forward...seen a mystic cobra with ine on backwards and the other the right way.

looks good man, Keep the wheels and just lower it about an inch and a half, that should change your mind lol
yea I am on the fence about the wheels. It is a cobra and I feel I shouldnt mess with the appearance much. I really REALLY needs lowered at least 1 1/2.

I woulda kept my ugly Tri-bars on my car if I had lowered it... but the Bullitts look killer too. I love the Cobra wheels...
I had the bullets on an 03. Stock with the charcoal center. I loved them. May put a set on this if I can find them. I dont know. I hate messing with things like this. Maybe I will lower first and go from there.

Just a little useless snake emblem info. The drivers side snake on a 93 cobra faces "backwards" from the factory. When ford first started making the cobra again in 93 there was only one part number for the emblem. they did not make a "right" and "left" side untill the 94 cobras came out. the snakes are all facing forward on all other cobras except 93. this is one of the first things I look at when I see a 93 cobra. Its kinda a hint if its a "real" 93 cobra or if it has been crashed and repaired by a dumbass. Just thought I would share. its two A.M. and im really board.

Thats a nice ride there man, should be able to get mid 13s with some 4:10s definitly.
since we all know what direction the cobra should be facing on the sides and that little bit of coo info on the 93 cobra..... Who on here knows what direction the cobra should be facing on the front. Is it supposed to be looking at the driver or passenger.
well upon further review the cobra emblem was not from the factory on the front. So I guess either direction is right. At least I kinda got that one right lol
