Damn that's crazy. Could've been road rash. He's either lucky or good. Some of both maybe??

He used luck and skill to get himself a felony. The temptation to run is strong, but usually if you take your lumps, it's not that bad.

All I can say is, I'm glad we don't have state patrol aircraft here in Dayton!

At those speeds even in full leathers your nothing but pot hole filling on a public road. At that point its not a rash from the road on your body is that your body has turned into a rash on the road. The fact that he was able to survive to get a mugshot is a testament to luck.

I'm all ears, where are they running them in or around Dayton? I'm not buying it.

They do it at least once a week on 675 around the Wilmington Pike exits. Most of the time on the south bound side. They have about 5 cars on the ground and call them out from the air most of the time. Sometimes they have a Centerville bike cop sit up on the Feedwire Rd overpass and clock people and the OSP sits around the corner waiting.

Have you ever noticed the white marks on the shoulders? They are about 2' x1' and are there so officers in the air can calculate your speed. Pretty much all the highways in the area that I have been on have them. There was even a new story on one of the Cincinnati stations a year or so ago about the OHP do enforcement from the air.
