I have the Samsung HMX20C. I love it. High Def and has a built in hard drive. You can fit quite a bit onto it, i think like 90 minutes. The one I had before used the mini dvd's. I hated it. They only lasted like 30 minutes. It has HDMI output that you can plug straight into your TV.

Shop around. retail list price is like 900. I got it for considerably less, but I have a part time gig at a retail store just for bargains like this. I have seen it for under 500 on the web.

Mine was round 600 bucks, has an internal hard drive, I have put hours and hours of video on it and it still wasn't full. I put the movies onto my harddrive it worked well. I will have Donna tell me the make and model of it and post it up for you.
