a buddy of mine wants to know what all you have to do if you buy a 393 stroker kit. do you have to notch the block? bore it over, and how much? any other info will be helpfull. thanks, adam

Pistons are differenet I think they are off the shelf 302 pistons. Check into what what makes what compression ratio. Stock 302 pistons in a 393 would be a decent amount of compression

my buddy is looking at getting a a stroker kit from either probe or scat so whatever pistons it comes with. thanks, adam

393, you can use stock compression height 302 pistons and stock length 351w rods. Its possible to piece these together and just get the stroker crank.

Flat top pistons will give you quite a bit of compression, my small dished give me 10.5-11.0 in my 395 .

ballpark range, what would it cost to put it together with 302 pistons and a stroker crank and 351 rods?
