Good question. I need some refinished as well (18in roush wheels).... debating re-finishing and keeping them... or re-finishing and selling possibly.... Anywhere?

That's what I'm doing as well, going to either rechrome my chrome pony's if it's worth it. They are factory fox chrome pony's so If I could get two of them done for a couple hun I'd do it and part with them..... if not I don't know if they are worth selling with two of them peeling they way they are but I don't want to send them to California or something like that........ are yours the one's the came with your car Stacey?

No, we bought 2 sets of roush wheels. Some were scuffed pretty bad and chris has the 4 in pretty good condition on his car right now....and I get the other 4 to put on my car eventually. It'll prob be a while bc I have to get new tires also or wait till next summer and use his hand-me-down tires. Probably looking to get them re-finished sometime this winter when I have the cash. These are the ones we both have- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ROUSH-18-Chrome-Cast-Wheel-2005-2010-Ford-Mustang_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14 QQhashZitem29fdcb9406QQitemZ180351636486QQptZMotor sQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
I have no idea what it would even cost.... all 4 of mine have road rash pretty bad.

Try ppg plating over on lester ave. I used to get some Harley parts plated there. Not cheap but they do a great job. Try Browns plating in paducah ky as well.

I thought about having them powder coated but they're factory chrome pony's so I dunno I was going to fix them if it wasnt too much but we'll see I've contacted a few places....

Probably not too cheap. The cost of running a plating business is pretty high. I know they do pretty good work though. rscoupe had them straighten his bogarts after a hard landing last year at one of the NMRA events.

You may also want to try Hohman Plating in Dayton.

$295 per wheel this isnt to fix a bent rim or anything like that just to strip and rechrome.... I'm thinking they are going to end up becoming coffee tables or garage art.. lol

I imagine they have to strip off the old plating before than can plate it again.

oh I bet..... how close to chrome can you do with powder?

Quite honestly the chrome powder does not look no where as good as real chrome. It looks like a really shiny silver. If you look thru my thread there should be all kinds of chrome parts I did on the last 5-6 pages. Don't get me wrong it looks really nice but there is not anything that can replace the real thing.

that's what I thought too.......... but it was worth a shot I've got these chrome pony's I'm taking off and doing a 5 lug conv and one is pealing pretty good and one has some curb marks so I was going to fix them if it wasnt going to be that expensive and part with them since they are factory Ford's but it's looking like it's going to be too expensive to do so I dunno what i'm going to do with them.....
