Ok its no secret I'm not an automatic fan but I am going to switch to one for now. My question is what kind of stall speed should I be looking for. Should it be above my spool rpm or about the same??? I plan on using a transbrake valvebody if that matters.

You want a really tight converter and probably nothing over 3500. Most converter companys like to stay around 32-3300 on turbo cars. Using a t-brake and 2step will help out a ton!

^ what he said. My new converter will stall at @ 3200-3400. He mentioned that you want it to lock up as soon as it starts making boost.

Tell me the setup and I'll tell you what I would suggest doing.

You need the exact same converter I built for the pinks car. That is my suggestion. Rating it to a stall speed is complicated as you will lean into it and it will stall about 3200, boost will build and the stall will push into the 4's. I didn't get the time to read everything about the car, is it a race only or street driver too?
