Took the wife and kids to the Renaissance Festival today and had an absolute blast. None of us had ever been and we all really enjoyed the day. The shows, people, and food were great. The festival runs every weekend till Oct.25. If you get bored on any upcoming weekend befor the 25th of Oct. it's definitely worth the trip up to Wilmington to see the festival.

I've been a few times, no free tickets this year, but that won't stop me.

Weirdest year was 2001 just after 9/11/01.....9/15/01 I think?

Still no planes in the year but every 3 minutes a Air Force Cargo plane flew over headed west. Every 3 minutes on the dot!!!!!

I stop counting at 20 planes, my turkey leg and beer was only good for an hour before needing a refill!

We usually go every year. Probably won't make it this year. Even after seeing the same shows over and over....I still find myself laughing and having a good time.

If anyone is going this weekend my wife will be there I believe on saturday and she has atleast 6 maybe 8 extra tickets (friend of mine hooked me up)... If you guys can meet around the time she gets there I think they are almost 20 bucks each so it could save you some cash... bangerz only... must make arrangements by friday.

My wife will be going up on Saturday! No idea when she will get there. She will be in full garb. We always have fun up there. Got to see the mud show!!!!

My wife makes her own costumes and has all the stupid crap to go along with it... does she have tickets already?

its a good time, would be better if they didnt nickle and dime you for everything though.

We go 3 times every year. I love Silent Lion. Really miss Christolph The Insulter though. :)

not trying to start a rant here but i have been there twice and have not been able to get into the whole idea yet, but the food was great. i think it one of those things you either love or hate.
