Never had a automatic mustang but will be trading for a 84gt with the aod gone and a c4 in it. It isn't a hard shifting trans. What can I do to make it better and handle a little more power? the can runs sumwhere in the low 13's to high 12's on street tires. I was wanting to do some spray and a good tourque converter. any suggestions to make this trans better? has an aftermarket trans cooler on it already.

ok. How hard is it to work on a auto trans? Ive worked on many manuals but never had the pleasure of taking a auto apart.

I am sure someone will chime in but I have always heard that a upgraded servo is a must as well. The converter whould be the hardest thing as both the valve body and servo can be done in the car.

Oh also I am a fan of pa performance parts. I used the vb in my aod and it ran great
