i recently put my battery in the hatch on my car, and am wondering where to ground it to? i have been told that the quad shock mount will work, but i have no bolt there, and don't know the thread to buy a bolt for it. anyone know where to ground it to, or what bolt to get?

You are always better off to take the ground all the way to the original grounding spot on the car/ the engine with a very heavy gauge ground cable with soldered lugs. Grounding issues in computer controlled cars can cause all kinds of fits.

I attached mine to a piece of metal in the trunk that had an existing hole in it.But mine is a coupe.

I sandwiched mine to a bolt in the spare tire. Then ran another wire over to the old quad shock mount and made a clean spot there. Car starts perfect and runs fine.

I have my battery box bolted to the car so I just attached to that..
