Ok, who makes the best turbo kit out of the choices above? If you have personal experience, please share it. If you have friends that have them, post up their likes and dislikes of the kits?

Most guys on the mod motor boards complain about the wait time for the HP kits. I remember hearing 6 months or longer. I wasn't 100% thrilled by that Hellion kit on a 03/04 Cobra. I didn't care for some of the routing underneath the car. I think a custom set up is the way to go and probably a better buy.

First choice would no doubt be custom. But if you had to go with an off the shelf kit I would say Brian at BG.

Well, I was going to do another poll for different manufacturers, but for this poll I was mainly interested in the two I listed. Custom kits take time. I just wanted input on these two. Thanks.

I think HP's quality is pretty good but unless they have improved their delivery time Helion is probably the way to go.

What body style are you looking for a turbo kit for?

I have heard very good things about On3Performance in Columbus. I think I am going to go with them.

Quoted for truth.

To answer the question though, if you want it fairly quick get the Hellion. If you have some time and you're willing to wait get the HP. Not sure what the lead time is on HP anymore but it's not unheard of to wait 3-6 months to get a kit from them. With that being said, if you're willing to wait, you might as well have Jason do a custom.

I agree, that was going to be my next post was who local is makes a good turbo kit, leaving 'best' out of it so there is no competition. I have installed both the hellion and an HP, and I have to say the HP gave me the most fits of installation compared to the hellion. the hellion although complicated, did have the most straight forward installation. It works well and the HP was missing parts, things not made correctly, air filter didn't fit the turbo, I could go on and on, but won't.
I will post up another thread later. Thanks.

I've been pretty damn impressed with jimssvt's work and he seems to work pretty damn fast.
