My AC / Heater only blows on defrost. I traced a vacuum line under the hood that runs along the firewall to a tee on the drivers side that was cracked on one end. Its appears each end has a built in fitting.. It is shown below as figure 19C828. I am told by Ford this is no loner available.

Where do I get one???? Help

You need to start checking all the vacuum lines under your hood, mine have all show signs of wear....

don't know why i am getting into this.....

you need the line you marked with the blue arrow correct? well i hope so because that's what i was searching for. you need to locate ford number F4ZZ19C828A.
guerra international has one in stock for 28.74 plus shipping. verified by phone call. they are located in miami and they can be reached by phone at 305-437-7992.

I have some small semi hard plastic type tubing I got from my uncle and I just cut about 3 inches from the end of the fitting and slip this over the rest sticking out.Works rather well. That was the first thing I saw on my coupe when I got it home. The tube going into the hole where the heater core lines go into was broken and wouldnt let it go any where but to defrost.

Oh,and when I hit the junkyard,I almost always take those special vacuum fittings off of the trucks and cars im working on.

ya i never really looked into it, its always done this, at first it would come out of the vents some times and sometimes it wouldn't, now it stopped completely and only come sout of the defroster, no matter what setting i put it on (floor, face, mix ect... ect...) it still comes out defroster

If I'm understanding the picture, the line your talking about is a hard plastic line with oversized ends on it made of rubber? If that's the case, there isn't anything special about them. You can buy regular vacuum line the same size as the ends it connects to and any vacuum T in the help section of Autozone and put it back together that way.
