View Full Version : question about a mustang harmoninc balancer

i have a 93 5.0 mustang and im wanting to buy a fluid damper along with underdrive pulleys and dont know if i should go with a 28oz or a 50oz and was looking for suggestions. im also looking to pro charge it this winter so i want the best damper for that as well. any help or suggestion would be appreciated. thanks!

All the late model 5.0HO motors use the 50oz balancer. Early model 302 and all 351 windsors use the 28oz units. There are lots of good balancers out there, the TCI rattler gets much better reviews than the fluid dampner. Also Romac and Pioneer make great SFI units, you may want to look into them also.
