My T45 Tranny has done this a few times. What it does is if your going full throttle going into 2nd gear, it seems to grind ever so slightly still goes into gear just as quick but I can hear the tranny sing to me a bit and feel it. It never does just driving regularly and has only done it 2-3 times going full throttle. My worry is here soon the motor will be pushing around 400 HP to the flywheel on Nitrous. Should I really start to worry about this "slight" grind turning into a major problem with that kind of power? Thanks in advance guys and gals.
Not to scare you and I dont know shit about much.... BUT my fox did that a few times to me then the tranny blew up on me. Different tranny and car but thats what mine did.

That worries me lol, The tranny I thought even when it had the original shifter in it kind of shifted harder than other manual transmissions (including other T45's.)
well when it happend to mine it happend pretty fast. One day it had a small errr when I shoved it into second and a few days later whild hardly getting into it it blew up on me. Then keith had to come to the rescue. May not be a bad idea to start looking for a tranny now so if it does happen your set. I saw a few cheep here and on c/l. You may be fine just be prepared. Not a bad job and not real expensive either. I have a guy that can do the work too if you dont feel like doing it.

When you have the car down for the head swap it might be the prime time to fix the tranny. It may only be a little problem right now that could be fixed pretty cheap.
